Which means it's a direct activation, it will directly activate on bnet account of your choice. This is official Blizzard/Activision partner method of activation.
And no, you don't need VPN to activate.

So do i have to have windows 10 to play this game ?
replyThe Beta did require Windows 7 64-Bit (SP1) or Windows 10 64-Bit (1709 or later), however it was recommended to have Windows 10. It's unclear what the final game will require as the System Requirements are not out yet.
