Bungie reveals Post-Launch plans for Destiny 2: Forsaken
Less than a week to go until the next chapter of Destiny arrives when Destiny 2: Forsaken launches on September 4th. While we wait for the release next week, Bungie have revealed their plans for the future of the game with post-launch content coming soon. Yesterday the game received the long awaited Update 2.0 patch, which brought with it some massive changes to the game including weapon, class changes and much more. After Destiny 2: Forsaken launches Bungie plans to add even more free and paid content, with the first content drop coming in December 2018 with the Season of the Forge, which adds New Weapons, New Crucible Content and more. Plus the very first Annual Pass content will arrive with the release of the Black Armory, that includes a New Raid Lair, New Exotics, New Legendaries and a brand New Forges of the Chain Activity.
In Spring 2019 players will be able to enjoy another Seasonal Update as the Season of the Drifter arrives alongside the Joker's Wild Annual Pass Content. Then in Summer 2019 we'll get another Season (which has yet to be named) with the final Annual Pass content Penumbra which also includes a New Activity Experience that was teased in the video posted by Bungie.
