Description of Conflict: Global Storm
There is a new global terrorist organisation: March 33. Founded by what remained of the Nazis after WWII, two generations have not quelled the group's fanatic desire for revenge and the creation of a fascistic new world order.
Thankfully the US military has Red Team, an elite anti-terrorist squad with battlefield and special-ops experience in Desert Storm, and they're on the case. But with a mole in the organisation and one of the squad MIA, will they be able to trace the network of terror around the world and defeat the terrorist threat?...
Features Conflict - Global Storm
Fourth in the Conflict series from Pivotal Games, Conflict Global Storm brings back Red Team and unleashes them against terrorists around the world.
In this squad based shooter you've got four guys (technically three guys and one gal) each with their own special ability be it heavy weapons, sniping or close-quarters, all under your control. Normally saying that you've got a squad under your control is gamespeak for prepare for a herding-cats experience but not with Global Storm. A particularly easy to use squad system means that you can switch between team members and give out orders with ease. You can turn a bloodbath into a perfectly co-ordinated effort to rid the world of rag-headed villains.
But not only villains of the rag-headed type; Red Team are real globetrotters in Global Storm; travelling to locations like the ex-Soviet Union, Seoul and the Latin American Jungle with missions that always have plenty of different mission objectives from saving an American VIP (why are they always American?), destroying a Colombian drug factory, and stopping the production of Sarin gas in a Russian factory.
And if you don't think that your team is up to scratch then you can do the single-player levels in four player co-operative online, great fun with a couple of mates. So remember people - if you have a problem, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the Red Team.
