007 First Light marks the long-awaited comeback of the world’s most famous secret agent after a hiatus of over 14 years. The Hitman developers at IO Interactive tell a completely standalone origin story: You take on the role of a young James Bond—played by Patrick Gibson—who, as a Royal Navy soldier, comes to the attention of MI6 after a risky operation and is recruited into the 00 program. As a rookie agent, you must fight your way through a dangerous conspiracy alongside your mentor, Greenway. The action-adventure features a linear mission structure, stealth sections, gadgets like the modified Omega watch, and locations around the globe.

13-Minute Gameplay Premiere

After physical copies of 007 First Light leaked early, IO Interactive took a pragmatic approach and promptly released the first 13 minutes of the opening mission officially—spoiler alert! Meanwhile, critics are raving with it currently sitting at a Mighty 89% on OpenCritic—so Bond still has the license to thrill, and Gamesplanet has the license to sell.
