Focus explains the game mechanics of A Plague Tale: Innocence in a new trailer!
A Plague Tale: Innocence is preparing to launch in under 2 weeks when it launches on May 14th 2019. As we approach the release we're getting a greater look at the game with videos to show us the promising action adventure with puzzle elements that test the siblings Amicia and Hugo against tough challenges. In A Plague Tale, developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Home Interactive take you on a journey through France in the 14th Century. This is a period of illness and a plague has swept through the nation, leaving swarms of rats roaming the streets. Players will also need to overcome the henchmen of the Inquisition as they try to survive.
The Overview Gameplay Trailer released today gives us a sightseeing tour through France. The video makes clear what is important regarding the gameplay in A Plague Tale, what challenges await you and how to deal with various enemies in the game. Amicia and Hugo must cooperate closely on their journey. In some situations, the smaller stature of Brother Hugo can be helpful. And for Amicia, other NPCs such as thieves or alchemists can help out by teaching her new skills.
