Hour Zero miniseries: The first episode, set before the events of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, is here

Bandai Namco is delivering the prequel to the upcoming Ace Combat 8 in the form of a mini-series. Episode 1 of the live-action series Hour Zero is now available, and it prepares newcomers for the arcade-style flight action.

Instead of dogfights, there’s drama to start with: Josh Holloway, Brandon Routh and Tamlyn Tomita star in the miniseries for Ace Combat 8, three people who survive the early days of the Republic of Sotoa’s invasion of the Federation of Central Usea – a pilot with nowhere to land, a doctor who saved his enemy, and a newsreader who paid the price for telling the truth.

Told in reverse, thought through forwards. The plot of the Ace Combat miniseries unfolds chronologically in reverse, showing you the family lives of these three characters right up to the moment their everyday lives were shattered and the war began. These events form the narrative foundation for the campaign in Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.
