Vikings are invading Age of Empires 2 – The Viking Sagas DLC is now available for your AoE2

The Viking Sagas expansion for the Definitive Edition of Age of Empires 2 has been released, featuring three new civilizations and a three-part campaign with a total of 15 missions. Here is the launch trailer for the release.

With The Viking Sagas, the roster in Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition with the addition of the Danes, Anglo-Saxons, and Varangians—each faction featuring its own units and technologies, as befits a proper strategy DLC. The Danes rely on fast longships and the Jomsvikings, who reduce enemy buildings to rubble and ashes with flaming torches. The Anglo-Saxons counter with fortified cities and the heavily armored Huscarls. The Varangians, in turn, combine mobility on the water with the mounted axe-wielding Jarl.

At the heart of the new campaign from The Viking Sagas is the historical Viking prince Harald Hardråde, whose journey takes you from Scandinavia through Constantinople to the invasion of England in 1066.
