Age of Wonders 4: Archon Prophecy - ‘heavenly’ expansion coming in August

Age of Wonders 4 opens the gates to a new culture: With the Archon Prophecy expansion, which will be available on August 12th 2025, the architects and the celestial forces of the Archons will come into play.

In Archon Prophecy, you explore two new story realms. The Archons have a lot going for them - but you'll have to uncover the secrets of their culture first and exploit their advantages in strategic battles. In the Rings of Emnora, you will penetrate the hidden fortress of these celestial beings. On the cliffs of Sordünn, you will land in a land ravaged by the horrors of the Umbra Void - an ancient prophecy lies dormant in the midst of the war between light and darkness. Four new spellbooks expand your tactical options in Age of Wonders 4: Divine strength from the Book of Virtue, fate-changing omens from the Book of Prophecies, undead retribution with the Book of Revenants or celestial power through the Book of Archons - which form of magic will it be?

The Battle Saint is a new hero class that transforms virtue into raw fighting power - be it as a healing support or a steadfast frontline tank. There's also something new on the battlefield: new wild animal units such as majestic Celestial Griffins, Archon Envoys and sinister Revenant Archons provide a breath of fresh air. There are also two new mounts (chariot and griffin), a revised UI skin, five new soundtracks by Michiel van den Bos and various card updates - including a resource pack, a new Old Wonder, a menacing plague and an additional religion type.
