Publisher Wired Productions raises money for charity with its own music label

Wired Productions, the studio behind well-known games such as The Falconeer, Deliver us the Moon and Victor Vran, is launching its own music label "Black Razor Records" - for a good cause. The publisher has just released a music single entitled "Arcade Paradise". Sound familiar? That's also the name of the 3D adventure game recently released by Wired Productions, in which you turn a run-down laundromat into an arcade with early 90s charm. The music track for the game was produced by Ivar & The Horde and there's even an official music video for it, which you can watch here.

Sounds good. But it sounds even better when a label promises to donate all proceeds from the sale of a single to a good cause. That's what Wired Productions is up to. Everything Wired raises from the sale of the Arcade Paradise EP via Bandcamp will go to the charity Safe In Our World, an organisation that aims to raise more awareness of mental health in the world of gamers and the games industry worldwide.

Wired Productions is not only working with Ivar & The Horde on this, but also with three global PR agencies, including a music agency. Kieron Pepper, the former drummer of The Prodigy, and Stu Brootal, lead singer of Ivar & The Horde, are also involved. The publisher explicitly emphasises that every cent from the sales of the single via Bandcamp will be donated to Safe In Our World.
