In this open-world action-adventure game, AC Black Flag Resynced, you take control of the Welsh pirate Edward Kenway, captain of the Jackdaw. You’ll battle your way through the Caribbean during the Golden Age of piracy—on land with stealth and combat mechanics, at sea with cannon fire and boarding actions, and in Resynced, even beneath the surface with completely redesigned underwater gameplay. What the Video Shows

The roughly 20-minute gameplay video for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced covers everything you need to get a basic sense of the game: It kicks off with a new mission to acquire the diving bell, followed by stealth sequences featuring the revamped crouching system, combat and assassination scenes, and a sailing trip to Blackbeard. Cutscenes featuring the historical pirates Thatch (Blackbeard), Edward, and Stede Bonnet offer glimpses into the redesigned story sections of Black Flag Resynced.

Of particular interest: the new underwater gameplay, which takes up several minutes of the video. Added to this are revamped combat mechanics, scenes at the helm of a ship during naval battles, and finally the classic boarding of an enemy ship—one of the defining moments that made Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag a fan favorite back in the day.
