The prison planet Kairos is ruled by a ruthless adversary, the Timekeeper, who controls everything and everyone with the help of cybernetic implants, so-called bolts, and his army “The Order”. Naturally, our chamber hunters from Borderlands 4 don't like this at all and so a conflict is carried through the looter-shooter, which will make trigger fingers glow when it is released on September 12. Because, as is typical of the series, Borderlands is all about shooting, shooting, talking nonsense, shooting and collecting loot. In Borderlands 4, by the way, with various vehicles, or rather with fresh ideas for locomotion in general, such as jet boosts, double jumps, zip lines or grappling hooks.
Numerous events and missions in Borderlands 4 let you conquer silos, discover secret hiding places and always look for new additions to the immensely inflated weapons cabinet. Action-packed gameplay that works alone in single-player mode, but also in co-op mode with up to four players. Cross-play functionality is provided and spontaneous, seamless entry into ongoing game sessions should be possible at any time.
