Borderlands 4: Story trailer reveals how the Timekeeper controls you with in-game scenes
A story trailer that also shows a lot of gameplay footage: Borderlands 4 will be released on September 12th and here you can find out why the Timekeeper is holding you captive and is in desperate need of a good smacking.
Borderlands 4 takes you to the mysterious planet Kairos - directly into the clutches of the tyrannical Timekeeper. Escape is futile, because the creep will tie you to the planet. How has he managed to do this? With a bolt implant, a kind of cybernetic control device.
The Timekeeper roars out of Dominion City, ruling as a tyrant with an iron fist, while his henchmen secure "The Order" by force. Time for a rebellion, led by ... Claptrap?! Wait a minute! Good old Claptrap is back in Borderlands 4 and imagines himself leading the resistance with the Crimson Resistance. Presumably, however, it will be you who take the wheel and fight for freedom.
Solo or would you rather shoot and loot in co-op?
Explore Kairos in single-player or co-op with new ways to get around in Borderlands 4, such as double-jumping, gliding and fixed-point grappling. Plunge into chaotic battles for the series, theoretically loot billions of weapons and take on a sci-fi adventure full of madness, boss fights and legendary characters.
As a Vault Hunter, you build your own individual builds, picking your favorite skills from complex skill trees. Action skills, movement techniques and more - Borderlands 4 will not just be a blunt shooter, but will also serve up complexity under the hood. But the main thing is that you always collect lots of loot and have the right weaponry at hand for all enemy types.
