Bus Simulator 27 just got a demo with the developers providing a breakdown of what players can experience and outlining the technical features coming to the final game.
What's in the Demo
Based on a beta build the demo is designed to give players a sneak peek into the game world of Felicia Bay and demonstrate the foundational mechanics of driving and managing a route. Testers can try out a tutorial, a city route in the Mequina district with a Solaris Urbino 12 electric bus, and two long-distance round trips between Mequina and Alcaztelar using a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo. While the demo currently features several locked menu options, the developers confirm that the full version will launch with full optimization and polish. The final release promises a deeply customizable open-world experience, playable in solo or with your friends in 4-player cooperative multiplayer crossplay mode, featuring three separate gameplay types, namely Story, Career, and Sandbox modes. Players will gain access to 45 different bus models spanning 13 real-world brands with custom skin support. Additionally, the full game will introduce an advanced Route Creator tool, allowing users to fully map out transit networks and hire employees to drive specified routes.
The demo (and the final game) also supports Nvidia DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and AMD FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) technologies. Players with compatible hardware can activate these advanced upscaling tools to significantly boost their framerates. This integration allows the engine to render graphics far more efficiently, reducing system strain while actively preserving crisp textures and high image quality.
