Call of Cthulhu launches October 30th, gets a new Gameplay Trailer
Horror takes shape in the upcoming Call of Cthulhu from Focus Home Interactive which is launching on October 30th. Earlier this year we got a new look at the game with an E3 Trailer and now we get an extended look at the game with 4 minutes of new gamplay footage from the Lovecraftian inspired title. Travel to the eerie Darkwater Island as you attempt to uncover the mystery behind the tragic deaths of the Hawkins family.
Call of Cthulhu is based on the classic pen-and-paper role-playing game by Chaosium. In the game you'll play as Edward Pierce, a private investigator who must solve a mystery by questioning suspects, searching for clues, fighting off dangers (mentally and physically) and reconstruct events. You'll also be able to make tough decisions as the dialogue can shape the effect of the story. At the start of the trailer you'll see Pierce chatting with the axe-swinging caretaker of Darkwater Island.
