COD: Black Ops 4 - Very High vs Medium vs Low 4k PC Graphics Comparison
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's preferred mode of play is the popular Battle Royale Mode Blackout, so with our PixelPerfect Graphics Comparison we've compared 3 graphical presets at 4k to see how each one looks.
It's been out a few weeks and the recent First Person Shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is already proving popular, especially with the Blackout Battle Royale mode which sees up to 100 players battling it out for supremacy. Our Sister Channel PixelPerfect is taking a look at the 3 presets (Very High, Medium and Low) at 4k in a new Graphics Comparison Video.
For FPS fans many value the high framerates and Black Ops 4 doesn't disappoint, with a port that can deliver an impressive 4k 60 (at most times) with a GTX 1080 Ti. This time around the PC port is being handled by the team at Beenox who have previously worked on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's PC port and developed 2016's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. As you'd expect with a PC port there's a range of tweaks to be done in the options from Shadows, Textures, FOV and more! In this comparison video we get a look at some of the various options available with Very High, Medium and Low presets to see how different each one looks. There's quite a noticeable difference in some settings such as texture quality which takes a hit when switching to low (see a comparison at 6:20) but the performance for the most part is stable on all 3 presets.
At the end of the video (9:53) you can take a look at the various settings we used in our graphics comparison video.
