Call of Duty: New content for Warzone and Cold War in Season 2 - Battle Pass trailer
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone start their 2nd season on 25th of February. A new trailer has been uploaded to show the new content for COD gamers.
Hardcore fans have known about it for a long time, of course. But all other Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players should also take a look at the latest trailer for the start of the second season of the multiplayer shooter. It gives an insight into the content, some of which will be added to the recent bestseller with the next Battle Pass on February 25. Expect new weapons, maps, game modes, blueprints and the debut of freshly trained operators. According to the developer Treyarch, you can patch Black Ops Cold War to the new version as early as Feb. 24. The Warzone update will kick off on 2/25 early in the morning between 5am and 7am GMT. The Cold War update for PC will have a download size of 30.85 gigabytes.
New weapons and new operators for Cold War and Warzone
Once again, there are 100 tiers to unlock in the Battle Pass for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. The new operator Naga will be available from the get-go and you can strengthen your firepower with two new weapons and various construction plans. For example, the Battle Pass contains the FARA 83 assault rifle (level 15) and the LC10 SMG (level 31). The blueprint box contains the Glade Ripper light machine gun and the Dragon Idol SMG submachine gun.
Four more weapons will be added during the season: the deadly R1 Shadowhunter crossbow, the ZRG 20MM sniper rifle, a machete for melee enthusiasts and the "E-Tool", the shovel for direct confrontations. The weapons mentioned here are not only for COD Black Ops Cold War, but also for Battle Royale gamers who want to expand their COD Warzone experience.
Operator Naga is the first of four new operators from the roadmap of the new season and will be available right at launch. Still in the bootcamp but soon also available in the game: the female operator Maxis, known from the Zombies story, and two buddies of Woods, Rivas and Wolf. For Warzone, new game modes are expected outside of the zombie events: Resurrection Extreme and Exfiltration.
New Zombie Event Outbreak Challenge for New Game Mode.
On February 25th, Treyarch will unlock a new challenge along with a new zombie game mode. Alongside of the zombie mode "Outbreak", the Outbreak Challenge for zombie hunters will begin. Expect to receive numerous rewards when participating, such as weapon skins and stickers. Special zombie modes will probably also be available in COD Warzone.
You may have already noticed that in COD Warzone on the Verdansk map, storm clouds have appeared in the area of the harbor and a larger ship is approaching every day. It is suspected that the barge is towing zombies that will make your life in Warzone even more difficult in the future. That is if you start the corresponding zombie game mode.
