[Help] I have beta/pre-order code, but how do I activate the main game?

We keep receiving questions about the bonus keys for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The beta phase is over, so beta codes are now obsolete and in your Gamesplanet library you can currently "only" find the key for the pre-order bonus "Captain Price", which can be redeemed at callofduty.com. And how do you activate the main game? Here's an explanation.

First of all: Try to keep calm and take your finger off the trigger of your AK-47 (firing will only start from October 25th). The activation of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be possible as soon as we have the "Go!" from publisher Activision, because even via Activision itself no activation is possible yet. This is then feasible for the main game, if Activision has a preload for the game then you'll be able to begin preloading the game data (maybe even earlier). If there will be no preload (which we doubt), Activision will allow the game to be activated at the latest in time for the release. Either way: At Gamesplanet you don't have to worry as we're an Official Partner of Activision Blizzard and everything comes directly from them.
