Hey! No, you will not be able to play with a german IP. Settings at Steam will not allow that.

I'm pretty worried

The other day I bought the game here (gamesplanet uk) and I told you that I got the region 3a tag.

You told me that there were no problems in activating and play it in Spain.

In steam forums have told me that you have sold me the German version.

I wanted to ask you what version you sold me and you tell me 100% sure that the region 3a tag is activable and playable in Spain and that it has no censorship

Hey,

You did purchase the European version no worries, there was some confusion earlier when we shipped keys as they mentioned "3a" on them instead of "3". This is something we reached out to Activision about and they have since updated region codes so that 3a became 3 and 3b (which was the German version) turned into 3a.

To confirm you have a region 3 key you can check your Steam Licenses and product key activations page. From here you will be able to find that it's "Call of Duty: WWII Digital (Region 3)".

Rest assured we're working with Activision and there is no region censor on your version at all, it was just a misunderstanding that was cleared up over the weekend :)

Nope! As it says in the notice, this is a European key. You must have a European IP address in order to activate it.

I just bought this game on your page and I have activated it and I get in the description region3a.

I understand that I will not have problems in playing it in Spain and I will take the Spanish language ??

Hi there,
Yes no problem, it's the European version. Our UK store is shipping "Rest of Europe" codes. They are from this package at Steam: https://steamdb.info/sub/207244/
(no Germany here, so all fine)

Rest of Europe is named internally "Region 3a"
Germany is named internally "Region 3b"

This is unfortunately in direct contrast to the official site from Activision, where Region 3a is Germany and Region 3 is "Rest of Europe". We've reached Activision for some clarification but I'm sure it's a name/label mistake and the version you got is the right one.
