Bandai Namco Announces New Action RPG Code Vein, Coming 2018!
Bandai Namco is creating a brand new Action RPG for 2018, set in a not too distant future, in a world filled with enemies and monstrous bosses to challenge players of all skill levels!
The wait is finally over, recently Bandai Namco were teasing something known only as "Prepare to Dine" which was an animated short based on their upcoming project, which is now known as Code Vein. In Code Vein you'll play as one of the Revenants where players are tasked to embark into the world with a companion picked from the various residents of Vein to uncover lost memories and an exit out of this new demented reality.
Revenants will also have access to Blood Veils, which are devices capable of draining blood from enemies and using it to power the players abilities. Using the abilities - known as Gifts, players will be able to change their form and increase their strength, weaken enemies, and use new overpowered weapon attacks that can deal some serious damage. As you'd expect the game will offer a variety of different weapons and each one will have their own unique set of attacks.
You can get a look at even more shots from the game which is currently in development right now, it's possible we may even see our first gameplay trailer soon (E3 perhaps?). For now though you can see how it currently looks!
Code Vein will be created by the team behind popular Action RPG GOD EATER, so we can expect a great action title with Code Vein when it launches in 2018. Though the game is still unconfirmed for which platforms the game will be relasing on beyond "major consoles". Will we see a PC version? The GOD Eater games did make their way to PC, so it would seem likely this will also be on PC at some point.
