Conan Exiles Enhanced: Launch trailer for the release of the facelift update
Funcom is celebrating the 8th anniversary of Conan Exiles with a massive free update to Unreal Engine 5 – featuring significantly improved graphics, a new UI and merged maps.
Conan Exiles has been one of the most popular survival RPGs on the PC market since 2018. Set in the open-world sandbox of Robert E. Howard’s barbaric fantasy world, you fight for survival, build bases and castles, forge alliances or declare war on other players – either solo or together with others.
A birthday present
To mark the game’s eighth anniversary, Funcom has released the update in collaboration with Inflexion Games – and it’s completely free for all current and future owners of the game. The upgrade transforms the game into Conan Exiles Enhanced, migrates the entire game to Unreal Engine 5 and brings with it, among other things, significantly enhanced environments, character models, lighting and effects. It also features a revamped user interface and numerous quality-of-life improvements, such as automatic crafting from nearby camp and companion inventories, and multiple character slots per account.
On most computers, the game now runs smoothly at 60+ FPS across all graphics settings, and Steam Deck support has also been improved. A handy bonus: the client size has shrunk from around 120 GB to just 40 GB. For the first time, you can switch between the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah with a single character – no restart, no compromises. Multiplayer servers will now be able to host both regions simultaneously. Access to the island still requires the Isle of Siptah DLC.

To celebrate the launch, we're running a new promotion on Conan Exiles Enhanced and DLCs until May 18th. Whether you're yet to pick up the game, or if you want to grab some DLCs for your collection now is the time!
