Face the trenches of WW1 with Survival Horror CONSCRIPT - Out Now
With CONSCRIPT, Catchweight Studio has delivered a survival horror game that, with its uncomfortable storyline, unhealthy poison gas attacks and other gruesome scenes from the First World War, is not necessarily designed for a fun game night with the family. And yet the family theme frames the whole game, because in CONSCRIPT you play a French soldier who sets off in search of his missing brother during the Battle of Verdun.
The biggest problem: grenades fly into the trenches, clouds of poison gas cover the pixel-art graphics with green colour and enemy soldiers lurk everywhere, strictly rejecting family happiness. CONSCRIPT is an extraordinary survival horror game with an unusual setting for the genre. Your main tasks: Make your way through the dangerous trenches, infiltrate fortresses, face your adversaries in direct combat, collect important resources and solve occasionally complex puzzles. It would be nice if you and your brother could find your way back to your home village unscathed. Sounds exciting? Here is the release trailer for CONSCRIPT:
