The Dakar Rally is a well known racing challenge that has been going on since 1979, and now almost 40 years later we're getting a new game on PC as Dakar 18 launches today. The game will feature both online single player and multiplayer modes with a world that takes players across a map made up of 5,791 square miles as they race with cars, trucks, motorcycles, quads and UTV's. You'll even be able to get out of your vehicle and explore the world on foot (though we don't suggest walking that distance).
Developer Bigmoon Entertainment promises a realistic cross-rally experience for PC, which is set to be one of the largest ever created with a huge open world filled with plenty of sights to see.
