Now it's official – and now everything is happening very quickly: Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is coming to PC on March 19, 2026. The announcement was made during yesterday's State of Play event, along with a new trailer. Steam keys will soon be available at Gamesplanet.
In the standalone sequel to the highly successful first part (which we currently have on offer for a limited time as a Director's Cut with a 79% discount), Sam travels to Australia, where she expands the Chiral Network with new equipment options, weapons, and vehicles. In addition to battles and stealth passages, you can expect natural disasters such as earthquakes, sandstorms, and forest fires. It's best to always have an umbrella with you, because the destructive Timefall precipitation in Death Stranding 2 is no joke. The Social Strand System returns, linking your game world with the worlds of other players in asynchronous multiplayer.
The PC version scores points over the console version in terms of technology: 4K resolution, 21:9 ultrawide (even in cutscenes), and even 32:9 super ultrawide are supported. In addition, there are freely assignable keyboard and mouse controls, full DualSense integration including haptic feedback, and 3D audio via Dolby Access, DTS Sound Unbound, and Windows Sonic. New modes for PC and PS5 will follow at launch.
