Directive 8020 is here: Supermassive Horror in Space – Launch Trailer Revealed
Directive 8020 from Supermassive Games is now available. In this new sci-fi horror adventure from The Dark Pictures series, you’ll fight for survival—on a spaceship with an alien on board.
Earth is dying, time is running out—and 12 light-years away, Tau Ceti f awaits as humanity’s last hope. What begins as a colonization mission ends in a nightmare: The ship Cassiopeia crashes, and the crew quickly realizes they are not alone on the alien planet. Directive 8020 is the new cinematic horror adventure from Supermassive Games, the creators of Until Dawn and The Quarry.
Alien Meets The Thing – Rethink Every Decision You Make
The gameplay in Directive 8020 combines stealth sequences and real-time events with a branching narrative where your decisions have real consequences, as is typical of the Dark Pictures series. What’s especially cool: The new Turning Points system lets you rewind to any point in the story and explore different paths. But be careful who you trust. The alien on board can take the form of crew members. So paranoia is free for the crew members.
Hollywood actress Lashana Lynch (The Woman King) plays the lead role. Up to six players can share the thrills together in Movie Night mode. Experience shows that this is especially fun in couch co-op. You can also play by simply passing a single controller around, depending on which character you want to play at the moment.
Directive 8020 is now available for PC with a 15% discount on Gamesplanet. The Digital Deluxe Edition is even available with a 25% discount for a limited time.
