DiRT 4 - Overview for ASUS Join the Republic Event

What is DiRT 4?
The DiRT series has been going for almost 20 years at this point, first starting life as Colin McRae Rally though shortly after his death it was later renamed to just DiRT and DiRT 4 is the sixth title in the series (or 12th if you include previous games). Codemasters is once again creating the ultimate rally experience, building on what they have done with DiRT Rally (the latest entry), the game will offer a variety of tracks and improved weather conditions, as well as new features.
You will be able to compete in timed stage events on tarmac and off-road terrain in varying weather conditions in locations such as Australia, Spain, United States, Sweden and Wales. As with any driving game you can expect a range of vehicles to drive, from the early 1980's all the way up to 2010. Best of all the game also adds in procedurally generated levels based on presets that can be tailored by you, which adds a unique twist that should keep races fresh.
The game will also add in an element of a team management system (introduced in earlier titles), by offering the chance to hire staff to run your day to day operations, repair vehicles and get team sponsors. Players can also buy and sell new cars, as they use car performance history to affect sales based on how well they've done in races.
Plus it wouldn't be a racer unless you could compete with others in Multiplayer and it continues this trend in DiRT 4. Also making it's return to the series is the fun and whacky mini-games (last seen in DiRT 3) so expect crazy modes!

ASUS - Join the Republic Live Gaming Event
DiRT 4 is one of the games taking part in the ASUS - Join the Republic Live Gaming Event that is taking place in Berlin on April 1st. The eSport team Ninja in Pajamas will also be competing in various gaming matches with the community. During a press conference, ASUS will also present the latest hardware.
