What is DiRT Rally 2.0?
Codemasters has established itself over the years as a reliable developer for racing simulations. This can also be attributed to the DiRT series, because its predecessor, DiRT Rally was already considered the king of mud and gravel tracks when it launched in late 2015. Now the crown passes to a new contender when DiRT Rally 2.0 launches on February 26th. Early reviews from critics look positive with OpenCritic rating it a Mighty 85 based on 35 critic scores. The tuning of an excellent racing game and the addition of new features pay off: DiRT Rally 2.0 is the new champ among the rally sims!
What makes this racing game series so good? It's the unmistakable realism, the driving behaviour of the roaring dirt throws, the influence of the weather on it and last but not least, the different rally venues with their changing conditions. DiRT Rally 2.0 is not an arcade racer, though Beginners are welcome to take a seat and enjoy the rides. For those looking to take on a challenge behind the wheel they can strive for perfection with a range of off-road vehicles at their dispoal. Get in your car, go off-road and race foe the finish line. Practice makes perfect and to become the best racer you'll have to study the courses and master the steering.
The game also includes a variety of racing tracks from around the globe including: Australia, Poland, New Zealand, Spain, Argentina and the United States. Complete in the FIA World Rallycross Championship and prove who rules the roads! Enjoy a range of licensed cars with over 50 to pick from such as the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, a Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R, a Polo GTI R5 and if you pre-order DiRT Rally 2.0 you'll also get the Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec for free.
Compared to its predecessor, Codemasters has noticeably improved control, optimised the driving characteristics of surfaces and generally extended the influence of the environment and driving behaviour. DiRT Rally 2.0 PC start times
If you bought the Deluxe Edition of DiRT Rally 2.0 you can get into the race from tomorrow (February 22nd) thanks to the 4 Day Early Access. All players will be able to play on February 26th and the game can be preloaded today!
