i preordered this Dragon's Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition last year here.
it seems they have updated packages according to SteamDB now.
is this key possible to activate a global-package in Japan still?

We do not have keys yet, we expect them to be available to us soon. If the game does end up being locked we'll reach out and refund. As far as we know it should be the same locks as more recent titles such as RE4 and SF6. That said, we do check keys before and if needed we'll contact.
