Dragon's Dogma 2: 18-minute video shows fierce Cyclops combat, classes and more

January brings a new "IGN First" month and this time IGN are focusing on Capcom's upcoming action RPG Dragon's Dogma 2. Take a look at 18 minutes of gameplay from the upcoming game ahead of the March 22nd release, including a battle against the Cyclops!

Anyone who has already travelled with their minions in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (currently on offer with 87% off in our weekly deals) will fondly remember the sometimes spectacular battles. You don't just crush powerful enemies like a goblin - you scramble up the big lumps, look for sensitive body parts and attack them specifically for more damage. Just like you can see here in the 18-minute gameplay video for Dragon's Dogma 2, the sequel to be released by Capcom on 22 March 2024.

Your minions, who you recruit for your action adventure, are buzzing around you. These can be computer-generated NPCs, but also characters that you borrow from other players in a kind of online pool in Dragon's Dogma 2. If you return such minions to the hands of their creator, these characters will take the experience they have gained with you with them. A healthy mix of different classes in your party should be helpful - as shown in the video. You can see the Fighter, Thief, Warrior and Wizard in action.
