Dragon's Dogma 2: Create characters now - here's how!
During the latest highlights show, Capcom has launched the character editor for you on Steam ahead of the release of Dragon's Dogma 2 on 22 March. You can use the characters you create later in the main game - here's how!
The character editor of the action RPG Dragon's Dogma 2 is supposed to be complex and allow a lot of customisation. You know how it is: A new role-playing game has arrived and on release day you want to jump into the adventure and explore the world as quickly as possible. But then the character creation is long and tedious - after all, you want to look good (or as hideous as possible). Good thing the editor is already there.
1. download and install editor: It's handy if you can access the character editor beforehand and simply transfer the characters you created there to the game at the start of Dragon's Dogma 2. This is what Capcom promises with the pre-release of the editor. You can easily access and install it on the Steam page of Dragon's Dogma 2. You can't miss the green box on the Steam page: "Play Dragon's Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage".

2. keep an eye on Steam discussions: If you run into problems when working with the editor, Capcom is looking forward to your feedback in the Steam discussions. There, the publisher lists all the requirements for the smooth use of the Dragon's Dogma 2 character editor in a kind of troubleshooting guide.
3. start, create characters, be happy: After installation, you will find the entry "Dragon's Dogma 2 Character Creation & Save" in your Steam library. Start the editor like a normal game. And yes, it requires a controller, because Dragon's Dogma 2 is best played with a controller. Select the basic physical characteristics, race and class for your main character and then lose yourself in the detailed customisations.
