Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree: The Journey So Far

Get up to speed with events of Elden Ring with "The Journey So Far" trailer released by publisher Bandai Namco ahead of the upcoming Erdtree DLC release later this week!

Newcomers will find an introduction to the Elden Ring universe and its challenges, veterans will remember one or two memorable events from their playthrough and Bandai's explanatory video teases what the expansion Shadow of the Erdtree will bring, at least to some extent. The video also sheds light on the circumstances surrounding the arrival of the Terni in the Hinterlands and the search for the Elden Ring. It also introduces iconic characters such as Enia, Malenia and Blaidd, as well as bosses such as Radahn, Rykard, Mohg and Maliketh.

In the new adventure from the Earth Tree DLC, after defeating Radahn and Mohg, players can explore the Land of Shadows in pursuit of Miquella, Malenia's brother.

Although the exact objectives of this quest remain mysterious for now, this new region, once entered by Queen Marika, is sure to hold many more secrets to keep you entertained. Testers are now reporting around 40 hours of gameplay - and even then, you still won't have seen all the content of Shadow of the Erdtree.
