Expeditions: Rome - Siege Gameplay Trailer
Developer Logic Artists and publisher THQ Nordic invite you to a very special expedition later this week on January 20th 2022: In the turn-based strategy role-playing game Expeditions: Rome, you and your legion will blaze a trail through the history of Rome. Strategists are already looking forward to the approaching battles on beautifully decorated hexes, because the Expeditions series has already made a name for itself in the genre.
Expeditions: Rome follows its predecessor Expeditions: Viking, last released in 2017, and should be well received thanks to similar but improved gameplay mechanics. The bottom line is that Viking received a "Very Positive" rating on Steam. In the gameplay trailer published today by THQ Nordic, the publisher presents siege battles in detail, which take you to locations in Egypt, Gaul and Greece, for example. Each battle influences the further course of a campaign - so think carefully about where you fire your catapults. The developers hold out the prospect of secret operations, either you attack enemy fortresses openly and head-on or you trick the enemy and sneak up behind them. All for the glory of Rome!
