Rice farming to make its debut in Farming Simulator 25
Fans of farming simulation can explore the intricacies of rice farming in the upcoming instalment of the famous franchise. Farming Simulator 25 introduces two varieties of rice: classic rice and long-grain rice, each with its own specific cultivation methods.
To start, players will need to create paddies, fields specially designed to retain water. The main difference between the two types of rice lies in the planting method:
- Classic rice is sown directly in water.
- Long-grain rice is planted before the field is flooded.
Each variety will require specific machinery for planting and harvesting, adding a new dimension to the gameplay.
An innovative feature also allows players to grow their own rice plants in greenhouses, providing increased control over the production process.
To experience this new crop, you’ll have to wait until November 12, 2024. In the meantime, you can pre-order your copy in the Standard Edition or Year 1 Bundle, which includes the Year 1 Season Pass.
