Video: A typical mission in Firefighting Simulator: Ignite
In the trailer for Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, you can experience first-hand how an operation is carried out. As soon as the alarm goes off, the crew jumps into the vehicle, the sirens wail and they race to the scene of the fire at top speed. We'll now explain exactly how players go about this.
Initial assessment of the situation
Once at the scene, the team assesses the situation. Smoke development, access options and potential sources of danger are analysed before the first steps are taken.
While part of the team deals with the flames, others take care of rescuing trapped persons. Every minute counts when it comes to getting injured or unconscious people out into the open air.
Fighting the flames
Hoses are laid, water pipes connected and the appropriate extinguishing technique selected. With teamwork and precise planning, the firefighters advance step by step.
Once the flames have been extinguished, follow-up work begins. Finally, it's back to the station – ready for the next alarm.
