So yes, after checking your key, like for the other case last week, it should work in Italy. Here's the Steamdb entry for the package, showing Italy is ok: https://steamdb.info/sub/382644/
Did you try to redeem the key through the browser instead of the steam launcher? Maybe your IP is not properly recognized by the launcher...
