Controllers are definitely the ideal way to play the game. The mouse/keyboard controls are pretty horrible to try to duel with.

Have tried both and either takes getting used to, but yes the preferred method would be a gamepad.

Main thing I had an issue with was the mouse forgetting what direction you were blocking unless you keep moving the mouse. The keyboard itself was ok (heck, target switching and guarding was better on the keyboard)
