Forza Horizon 6 Is Here: Japan’s Open-World Racing Spectacle in Three Editions on Gamesplanet
Forza Horizon 6 is now available for PC and Xbox — the biggest open-world racing game in the series so far, set in Japan and featuring more than 550 vehicles.
Developer Playground Games and publisher Xbox Game Studios are taking you to Japan in Forza Horizon 6 — with the densest and most vertical map in the entire Horizon series to date. Tokyo takes center stage as the largest urban area ever featured in a Forza Horizon title. You begin as a tourist, fight your way through the Horizon Invitational, and rise step by step to become a Horizon legend. Touge races, JDM classics, custom garages, and the cooperative world-building mode CoLab are all part of the package — pushing the racing series into an even higher gear when it comes to replayability.
At the moment, Forza Horizon 6 holds a score of 89 out of 100 on the review aggregator Metacritic (PC reviews, as of 19 May 2026). The Xbox version scores even higher at 92 points, earning the game Metacritic’s coveted “Must-Play Award.”
