Freedom Wars Remastered: Bandai Namco shows opening sequence of the new edition of the action RPG
The action RPG Freedom Wars, which was released for the PS Vita in October 2014, will be released as a revised remaster for PC next month on January 10th 2025. The Vita game, which was highly acclaimed not only by anime fans (Meta UserScore 8.3), is being developed by Dimps Corporation, the same studio that developed the original alongside SCE Japan and Shift. Publisher Bandai Namco is responsible for publishing.
You can see the opening sequence of Freedom Wars Remastered in the new ‘Opening Movie’ trailer. The story in a nutshell: In Freedom Wars, players take on the role of convicts. However, they have not just been given life sentences or shorter prison sentences - in Freedom Wars your main character has to serve a prison sentence of 1,000,000 years. Presumably, it will be life-support measures in the future that make this possible.
But you also have the chance to shorten the sentence by completing deadly tasks mission by mission. Take down dangerous enemies, upgrade your weapons and remain brave on the battlefields.
Freedom Wars Remastered will be released on 10 January 2025 for PC and will be available on Gamesplanet at the latest on release.
