Call of Duty: WWII - Final PC System specs and PC Options
Sledgehammer Games reveal the final system specs for the PC version of Call of Duty: WWII which launches next week on November 3rd. They have also improved the game thanks to feedback.
The Call of Duty franchise goes back to it's roots as it heads back to World War II next Friday with Call of Duty: WWII. Last month we had a chance to test the Open Beta on PC and get a taste of the game for ourselves, and now with the game about to launch in a week's time Sledgehammer Games have outlined changes made to the game. Thanks to the Beta they were able to iron out some bugs, improve things and fix others to make sure the PC version is a great experience for anyone who plays it.

The developers have strengthened their anti-cheat systems and will be actively banning people on day 1 when the game goes live to ensure a safe environment to play in. Performance has been improved from the Beta as well, to better support the various PC setups in the wild and they have added a warning to detect if a user is about to go over their video memory.
Aspect Ratio and FOV
Recently we had a chance to play the Open Beta on PC and discovered that the FOV was a little limited, fortunately that has changed thanks to the feedback they have gathered and now the FOV slider has been updated to reflect standard aspect ratios on PC to avoid people getting unfair advantages in matches.
Aspect Ratio | Maximum FOV |
---|---|
4:3 | 100 |
16:10 | 100 |
16:9 | 95 |
21:9 | 80 |
>21:9 | 70 |
