A Normal Lost Phone

Losing your phone is something that many of us dread, but there are times when the circumstances surrounding the missing phone are brought to life as you uncover a mystery by digging further into the messages contained within. A Normal Lost Phone tells the story of one such case, you will discover the phone of Sam and as you explore it you will learn more about who he is and his life through investigation. As you progress further into the game you will uncover more about exactly what happened and his relationships with family/friends. You feel a connection to Sam as you begin to read more about the life he's led, and at times it can feel a little like you're invading someone's privacy, but it takes inspiration from games such as Her Story to offer an engaging story.

If you're a fan of investigations, point and click adventures, puzzles or mystery games then A Normal Lost Phone might be the game for you. It's not a super long game, and at times it can be a little tough to crack some puzzles, but it features a great soundtrack and clever puzzles.

Pankapu

Pankapu is an action platformer that will take players on an adventure, while exploring rich levels with the beautifully designed areas. The story takes place in the World of Dreams (also known as Omnia), and the evil Hya'Nagis seek to take over the lands to spread their corruption. You play as a guardian tasked with stopping them using allies and abilities. As you progress into the game you will acquire more abilities that give you upgraded damage, health or maybe a new attack to take on the most challenging of foes with. There's plenty to do and you'll often find yourself revisiting levels as you unlock new upgrades, in much the same way that games like Metroid work. While not a total "Metroidvania" style game it does offer alternative paths in the levels, with secrets and Mudjins to find.

The game also features a number of boss encounters, and while some are a little on the easy side they do test your skills and reaction speeds. During your travels you may find yourself dying a number of times, however checkpoints are plentiful and you'll often find that dying is easily resolved by timing your actions.

Should you want a platforming game such as the great Ori and the Blind Forest or Rayman Legends then Pankapu may be the game for you!
