Remember to keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages as we may have special surprises in store!

Today we're becoming an Assassin, pairing up with a Lizard and Bat, visiting Columbia, driving around Europe and more! Let's take a look at the Day 3 highlights:

Darksiders Franchise Pack (Action RPG Hack and Slash)

The Darksiders games are considered to be some of the best Action Hack and Slash games on PC, with many citing them as "Zelda" like thanks to great level design and combat with various weapons/items at your disposal. Darksiders tells the tale of War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse who was sent to Earth to prevent Hell from bringing an end to the world. Using powerful weapons War is able to unleash some serious damage on his enemies in his quest for vengeance. Along the way he'll meet up with various characters to aide him against the forces of darkness, as well as unlocking more abilities and weapons as he progresses further into the story in a metroidvania style adventure. Darksiders II continues the story and puts you in control of War's Brother Death, another of the Four Horsemen. Much like the original game Death has his own kind of weapons and abilities, this time round he is able to find and equip items/weapons that are looted from fallen enemies.

You can get Darksiders Franchise Pack for 82% off today, which includes Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition and the Darksiders II Soundtrack!

Assassin's Creed Syndicate (Open World Action Game)

We've had some great settings for the Assassin's Creed franchise, exploring Rome, the Caribbean and soon we'll be heading to Egypt. Syndicate takes place in London 1868 during the industrial period and the city is brought to life with a great open world. For the first time in the franchise you play as two characters, the Frye Twins Jacob and Evie - each with their own playstyle and abilities. At the core it's still an Assassin's Creed game but it adds a few new mechanics to keep things fresh, one of them is a new grappel that can be used to get from rooftop to rooftop easier to make exploring London easier. Speaking of London it's the perfect setting for an Assassin's Creed game and visiting the landmarks such as Big Ben are a treat to behold. You will meet up with historical figures such as Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin and many others during the story.

The game is a breath of fresh air in the franchise (which hopefully they continue Assassin's Creed Origins), and ranks among the best Assassin's Creed games ever made. You can get Assassin's Creed Syndicate for 59% off today!

Yooka-Laylee (Action Platformer)

During the 90's one console reigned king with platformers like Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64 leading the charge. PC on the other hand has not really had much, but that changed when Yooka-Laylee launched earlier this year. Created by Playtonic Games, which is made up of Ex-Rare employees who brought Banjo Kazooie to life. Like Banjo, Yooka-Laylee tells the tale of a duo teaming up in whacky platforming action and is in essence a spiritual successor to it. After being Kickstarted, the team set out to create a game that recaptured what made classic platformers such fun and on a level it does what it sets out to do. Set within 5 different levels, each one filled with various puzzles to solve, collectables to find and mini bosses to smash, all while retaining classic humour and pitched voices that some may not enjoy (thanks to a recent patch they can be sped up/skipped though).

If you loved Banjo Kazooie and wanted another game like that, then Yooka-Laylee may be the game for you! It's available for 33% off today!

BioShock Infinite (Action First Person Shooter)

Trying to tell an engaging story in a first person shooter can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, though Bioshock Infinite manages to pull off one of the best stories in a first person game with a great cast and a story that leaves you with questions (in the good way). You play as Booker DeWitt, a private eye for hire who must "bring the girl and wipe away the debt" when he travels to Columbia in order to rescue Elizabeth. What really brings this story to life is the fluidity and emotion between the characters, Elizabeth feels like a real person and brings a level of emotion that very few characters can manage within a game. The game is a mix of First Person Shooter, with light RPG upgrade mechanics as you focus on equipping various gear and using different weapons. Using a great art style Columbia comes alive and you'll find various "Skyhooks" that can be grappled on to allow fast travel and use them to hit enemies from above.

If you have never played a Bioshock game, starting with Infinite may be the best way to get into the series. Grab the game today for 76% off!

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (Simluation)

These days it's very easy to get lost in all the different types of Simulation games, and sadly many of them end up not being very good. In some cases though you do get exceptional titles and Euro Truck Simulator 2 is one of the best in the genre. You play as a trucker who must start his own company in order to deliver packages around Europe, as you begin you'll be taking on delivery jobs to nearby places and rent your own truck, but as you progress you will have a fleet of trucks ready to transport things. Take packages all over Europe, to places like Germany, France and more as you explore the roads (which are recreated in exceptional detail). Whether you're a casual player or a more hardcore player, the game allows everyone to just have an enjoyable ride on the roads - you can even put the Radio on and listen to some music while you drive. Even if you're not really a fan of Simulation games, this may be the one that changes your mind and is accessible to everyone.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is 75% off today!

Hidden Gem of the Day

The Town of Light (Psychological Horror)

The Hidden Gem of the day is The Town of Light, which is a powerful Psychological Horror that deals with mental health issues. For many games we often use them to escape life and problems that we face in our day to day world, but with The Town of Light you're given a voice to speak out with and it shines a light on metal health itself. You will play as a young girl known as Renée in 1938 Italy, who is locked away and shut out from the world. The game itself will have you exploring a world in search of answers, trying to uncover the mystery of your past and the story will evolve with you.

Grab The Town of Light for 20% off today, additionally players who purchase the game will be donating to charity as Gamesplanet and Wired Productions are donating revenue from each purchase between August 16th 2017 and September 6th 2018 in the "You are not alone" promotion, which helps a charity deal with mental health issues.
