Gundam Breaker 4: Bandai Namco's action series is back with new mecha power
Intense Mecha Fights and a Loot Dream: Battle Fans Have Nothing to "Mecha" About in Gundam Breaker 4.
Today is release day for Gundam Breaker 4, and franchise fans can look forward to a lot of action with their custom-built Gunplas. By the way, Gunpla stands for "Gundam Plastic Model" and refers to the model kits of Gundam battle suits, available in various scales—from mini to mega size. All of this has been based on the anime and manga series since the late 1970s!
In the new Gundam Breaker 4, you'll once again be diligently crafting your massive mechas. Without any plastic, but with even more pixel variety. The customizations of the Gundam suits make the battles in 3D arenas against other mechas incredibly diverse. According to early reviews, it's a joy to find new parts and use them strategically—like arms, legs, heads, bodies, and of course, weapons. For example, the site Twinfinite writes in their review: "It scratches the itch of an action game and a loot game all in one, and I can’t seem to get enough. At heart, it’s still a game all about making the wackiest robot you can that still absolutely shreds through enemies, and I think that’s amazing." Rating: 4.5/5.
However, if you want to hold your own in the battles, you'll need to be ready for fast-paced gameplay. Gundam Breaker 4 is by no means a leisurely game. This is also demonstrated by the newly released launch trailer, which you can watch here.
