Hell is Us: Trailer presents the essence of the action adventure

Many puzzles, a civil war, and you right in the middle of it all: Hell is Us does not offer the usual fare, nor does it feature overly large open-world areas – and that is precisely why it is such an exciting package that primarily aims to tell a meaningful story. In a fictional Eastern European country in the 1990s, a violent civil war rages between two factions. As if that weren't enough, the country is plagued by mysterious, almost demonic creatures known as Hell is Us ‘Hollow Walkers’. Faceless beings. As Remy, you set out in the crisis zone to search for your parents, solving numerous puzzles, uncovering secrets – including those of your own past – and putting your combat skills to the test in a number of confrontations.

Hell is Us thrives on exploration. No quest markers, no map that immediately provides everything that makes life easy: you start the game with Remy and are essentially on your own. You don't know much – not even the country is familiar to you, because you were smuggled out of the country at an early age. With the experience of a peacekeeper, you return, talk to NPCs, gather information about your parents, and sometimes rely on your drone and your sword from another time when confronted.
