What is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?
Indiana Jones is no stranger to the video game landscape, but it's been a while since we've seen Dr. Henry Jones Jr, thankfully we don't have much longer to wait as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is launching on December 9th (or December 6th with the Premium Edition.
The game takes place between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade movies, starring the charismatic Harrison Ford. For the game however, no expense was sparred as video game voice-over royalty Troy Baker The ,Last Of Us, BioShock Infinite and more, will be lending his vocal talents to the fedora wearing archaeologist.
Indy will be travelling the globe in a grand adventure in search of the Great Circle, and in a recent Gameplay Deep Dive we learnt that they'll be plenty of puzzles to solve, enemies to punch in the face and of course plenty of whip action (whip required). Stealth your way through encounters and don disguises in a similar way to the HITMAN games.
The game is being created by the team at Machine Games, who are best known for their work on the recent Wolfenstein titles including: Wolfenstein New Order and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Even though the team are known for their first person expertise, there's also moments when you'll be able to see Indy up close during cinematic moments when you're in third person.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - PC system requirements
Interested in heading off on adventure with Dr Jones? Take a look at the PC System Requirements needed to run the game. All systems will require a GPU that has Hardware Ray Tracing support, as well as Windows 10 64-bit OS with 120 gigs of SSD space for storage. Sadly you'll need a fairly recent machine as the minium requirements for 1080p Low 60 FPS (without RT) require a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 at 3.6 GHz or better or Intel Core i7-10700K at 3.8 GHz or better paired with a AMD Radeon RX 6600 8 GB, Intel Arc A580 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB.
Before you jump into the game, as always we'd recommend making sure you have the latest drivers for your Graphics Card to ensure the smoothest experience at release - AMD / Nvidia.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PC launch dates
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launches on November 20th at 8am PT / 4pm GMT / 5pm CET, however there's no planned preload for the game so you'll have to start the download when the game launches on Steam.

Is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle compatible with the Steam Deck?
While it's not been confirmed whether it runs on the Steam Deck, based on the requirements needed to run the game on PC it's unlikely that you'd be able to get an enjoyable experience on it and we wouldn't recommend purchasing the game if the Deck is your only method of play. It might be best to wait until the game is launched and look at reviews of those who have tried it on the Steam Deck.
