Free update ‘Operation Overrun’ brings a breath of fresh air to Insurgency: Sandstorm

Insurgency: Sandstorm enters a new phase of intense combat with the free Operation: Overrun update. You can expect a completely new environment, fresh weapon options and a fast-paced game mode that will leave you breathless.

Welcome to the forest

The new map Forest sends you into an overgrown military area that has long since been reclaimed by nature. Between rusting aeroplanes, abandoned research facilities and dense vegetation, every step becomes a tactical decision - especially during night-time battles.

New weapons for both factions

There are two new light machine guns to bolster your arsenal:

New game mode: First Blood

The newly added First Blood mode is all about quick reactions and firepower - only LMGs are allowed. Expect chaotic firefights in which timing and position determine victory.

Cosmetic rewards included

The update is rounded off with new patches and cosmetic content, such as weapon skins, which you can earn in-game - at no extra cost.
