John Carpenter's Toxic Commando: Launch Trailer for the Release of the Zombie Slayer
John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is now available. The official launch trailer gives you another look at what to expect in this chaotic 4-player co-op shooter.
Some scientific genius named Leon Dorsey had the brilliant idea of tapping into the Earth’s core for energy. The result: The Earth turns to sludge, and humanity turns into the undead. Nice work, Leon. Now you’d better backtrack fast. Since the budget wasn’t enough for real professional mercenaries, he hires you instead—the Toxic Commando. With up to three other players, you’ll fight your way through a semi-open, zombie-infested area full of mutated hordes. You can also play Toxic Commando solo. In that case, your team will simply be filled out with AI companions.
Shoot, Drive, and Swing a Katana
The gameplay in John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is all about maximum variety: Shotguns, grenades, special abilities, and katanas are all part of the massive arsenal. If you prefer something a bit more powerful, grab one of the vehicles on the map and plow through the zombie hordes. Teamwork isn’t just an optional playstyle—it’s a matter of survival. When hordes rush in from all directions, every teammate counts.
Developed by Saber Interactive (known for World War Z) and published by Focus Entertainment, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando has been available since March 12, 2026.
