Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Is Here—Avengers & Co. in 4v4, Launch Trailer to the Sound of a Gong

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has officially been released and is available at Gamesplanet. To celebrate the launch, here’s the trailer for this brawl-fest from Arc System Works.

The starting gun has gone off: Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is now ready for battle. Arc System Works, known for Guilty Gear Strive and Dragon Ball FighterZ, brings together 20 Marvel heroes and antiheroes in this fighting game and pits them against each other in a 4v4 tag-team format.

Instead of the classic one-on-one duels, you’ll assemble a four-person team and face off against an opposing quartet in Marvel Tōkon. At the start, you control only your leader and a support character; you unlock the rest of the team through combat actions like wall breaks or successful stage transitions. Once all four are active, you can switch freely between fighters, combine move sets, and build on synergies between your team members.

Visually, Arc System Works goes for a vibrant anime look; gameplay-wise, it features a 2.5D combat system with intuitive combo options for beginners and enough depth for competitive players. In addition to online matches in Ranked and Casual modes, there’s a local Versus mode for couch play and a full-fledged Story mode featuring the Marvel team, the Amazing Guardians.
