Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls – Phoenix Cyclops joins the fray on 2 November

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is expanding its roster on November 2nd: Cyclops will be appearing in his Phoenix form and unleashing optic blasts and cosmic fire in the new gameplay trailer.

The first new addition from the Year 1 Pass has been confirmed: on November 2nd, Cyclops will join the roster of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. In Arc System Works’ 4-on-4 tag-team fighter, you build a team of Marvel heroes and villains, combine their abilities into combos and assists, and take on other players on PC. Cyclops appears in his Phoenix form from the Avengers vs. X-Men comic series.

If you land hits with Cyclops’ Optic Blasts, you’ll collect Solar Shards. Once you’ve collected four shards, he’ll transform into Dark Phoenix at your command and gain a noticeable boost in power. The price you pay: the transformation drains his life energy. So if you fire too wildly, you’ll burn yourself out too.
