MS Flight Simulator 2024: The developers have a lot to say in this video interview
YouTube creator and Flight Sim pro NickFlightX returned from Microsoft and Asobo's global preview event in the Grand Canyons of the USA with a particularly long and informative interview. In just under 40 minutes, he asks the developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 holes in the fuselage planking, with the aim of getting as much information as possible about the flight simulation to be released on November 19th 2024. Interview with: Jörg Neumann (Head of Development Microsoft), David Dedeine (Creative Director Asobo Studio) and Sebastian Wloch (CEO and Co-Founder Asobo Studio).
During the chat, many a secret is revealed. For example, Neumann recounts how he unexpectedly received a call from a stranger in Australia after the release of the first trailer for Flight Simulator 2020, telling him that the depiction of the Australian trees was incorrect: ‘The trailer looks stunning, but the tree colour is wrong!’. And so it came about that Asobo collected and processed feedback from amateur pilots from all over the world. The method of analysing a lot of community feedback also plays a major role in the development of Flight Simulator 2024. But hear for yourself what the team has to say in this interview.
