Monster Hunter Wilds is finally here: New trailer for the start of the hunting season

Monster Hunter Wilds is in the running for the best Monster Hunter game to date. To coincide with the release, Capcom has released a ‘Proof of a Hero’ trailer that really whets the appetite for monster hunting.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, you set off to the Forbidden Lands to investigate a missing expedition. Together with your assistant Alma and other mysterious companions and NPCs, you'll explore multidimensional biomes teeming with wild animals and fantastic creatures.

These MHW features are new to the series:

• An open world with no loading times between areas.
• The ability to switch weapons during the hunt
• Monsters with smarter AI that interact with the environment.
• An improved skill system for more flexible builds.
