Monster Hunter Wilds system requirements: MHW requires this PC hardware
Does Monster Hunter Wilds require a monster of a PC? Good news: A GTX 1660 (6GB VRAM) or Radeon RX 5500 XT (8GB VRAM) is enough for 1080p at 30 FPS. But if you’re aiming higher, there’s plenty of room to push performance. Here are the official system requirements, as provided by CAPCOM.
At the lower end of the spectrum, Monster Hunter Wilds is quite forgiving. The game isn’t too demanding on GPUs, and even older CPUs should manage fine at 1080p. However, for 4K gaming, you’ll need a RTX 4070 Ti (12GB VRAM) and an Intel Core i5-11600 (or equivalent) to enjoy Ultra settings at 60 FPS.
Most gamers will likely fall somewhere between these extremes, making the official system requirements a helpful reference. And don’t forget to update your GPU drivers before launch: AMD / Nvidia.
